I took a Christmas wrapping bow and put it on a hairclip. Now I have a hair clip for Christmas!
A Tween's blog for Upcycling & Crafts
A little about me
I'm an imaginitive 10 year old, and my favorite color is hot pink! I really like to make crafts when I have spare time. I also like to read. When I craft, I like to make things from the stories I read about, like Hermione's wand in the Harry Potter series. I also like to take random objects and transform into useful things! Have fun crafting & upcycling with me!

I took about 8 Capri Sun pouches that were washed to remove stickiness. I stapled all of them together, so they would form a purse. I used 2 for the bottom going overlapping the bottom of 1 pouch on to the top of another pouch. Then I used 2 for the front and back and 1 for each side. Then I attached a wide ribbon with staples. You can use any color of ribbon.

Use 2 Lollipop wrappers cut in a circle, then snip the edges to create a frayed edge. Glue the wrappers together in the middle. Then glue it to an alligator clip, or any hairclip. Then if you want, you can put something in the middle. I put glitter glue.

Door mailbox
This is my door mailbox. I made it out of a paper towel roll, string, a black hanger that comes in the packaging for girls tights, colored paper and tape of course! You will find that I use a lot of tape. For my birthday I always ask for tape. My mom no longer wonders where the tape dissapears to, because she already knows :).
You know how you always want your own mailbox? Well this one you can tape on your bedroom door and someone can put a rolled-up note inside for you.
